You can help us provide access to fiber arts education for the children in our community. This isn’t just about making handmade textiles, it’s about teaching young people that they are capable, that they are artists and makers, and that they are connected to one another and to all the fiber artists throughout history.

The Madison County Youth Spinning Guild started with the desire to bring fiber arts learning to the local community in and around Madison County, Indiana. The Youth Spinners of Conner Prairie and their intrepid leader Sue Payne were the inspiration, and Nelly DeVault’s love of teaching and the fiber arts was the galvanizing force behind the formation of the nonprofit. It is our hope that this organization will provide a strong sense of community and belonging to all who participate.
